Tow Truck Service (Nakusp, BC) Do not get caught in the ditch. One Sunday long weekend my friend went into the ditch with his small school bus. It was almost $5oo. ca. for forty-five minutes work, plus driving time to and from Nakusp, BC. Canada.
There are not enough warnings on this road to let you know all the places you can go wrong except for a sign that says Rough Road. That is an under statement! Besides the fact the road It is very dangerous. Accidents happen all the time, so do not be one of them! Stay away from the edges!

Spring time is poison Ivy time.

About 60% to 80% of all people get a reaction to poison ivy. Poison ivy, poison oak, and poison sumac all contain the same rash- causing substance. It's urushiol, a colorless, odorless oil (or resin) contained in the leaves of the plants It takes about 1 to 2 weeks to heal. Stay on the trails and paths. Then there is nothing to worry about. The paths are wide and in good condition.

Notice for Camping over night: Only if you are camping over night will you be charged the $15. dollars a night camping fee per vehicle. That is 2.50 ca. per person if you have 6 seat belts. May 1 - October 15. Stair access for the most part of the downhill ten minute or less walk. Allow yourself ten to thirty minutes walk back up the hill. Take your time. Allow more time if you’re headed to the camp grounds. A cool off period beside the pools before you climb will help you increase your oxygen levels. It makes the trip so much more pleasurable, bearable and safe. Drink lots of water.
The road is in good shape! Logging above the hot springs has been going on. Beware of oncoming logging trucks!

They did not work! Hackster’s bombing the forums with abusive advertising links. It became un- manageable. Those interested to the Forums were few. The emails seem more interesting since the forums have been closed. So if you plan on telling me a story I just might post it in our News page. October Road Conditions 2019 The road has been graded and in places is in good shape for a forestry road. Still rattles everything! Conditions can change quickly with rain or snow!
