Halfway River Hot Springs

Our Web Site NOTICE

This web site is not “The Official Halfway River Hot Springs” web site. (see LINK) We provide for others and ourselves the opportunity to connect with those we have met at the Hot Springs over the many years we have been visiting and camping there. It is the only place that is like this anywhere in the world. We love Halfway River Hot Springs. Respect it, care for it, leave it like you found it in its awesome natural beauty.
The Arrow Lakes are divided into Upper Arrow Lake and Lower Arrow Lake. On the eastern shore of Upper Arrow Lake north of Nakusp is where Halfway River Hot Springs is located. Access is from the south side of the bridge up a non maintained, very poor condition logging road and can be a challenge for some two wheel drive vehicles. October 2019 Update: Road has been improved and graded. Logging trucks are active in the area above the springs. Watch for loaded logging trucks coming down the mountain! They do Not stop on a dime! Watch the corners! Be aware of dangerous drop-off’s along the sides of the road. It is very expensive to have a tow truck pull you out of the bush or the ditch if your lucky enough to find a tow truck and retrieve your vehicle. Because of its remote access it is not a BCAA destination. Slow down. Get there safely. Make this trip the one you talk about!

Welcome
